National Highways Authority of India has rolled out a program for Electronic Toll Collection on Toll Plazas on National Highways known as FASTag. FASTag is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the prepaid account linked to it. It is affixed over the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas.

FASTag is mandatory for vehicles sold on or after 1st December, 2017. For vehicles sold before 1st December 2017, adopting FASTag is voluntary at this stage of the program. It may be made mandatory in the future at some locations.
Customer can avail a cashback of 5% on all Toll payments using FASTag in FY 2018-19.
FASTag is presently operational at 400+ toll plazas across National Highways networks of India. Additional toll plazas will be brought under the FASTag program in the future. Please check the list of active toll plazas under the ETC programme by clicking here.
You can register your vehicle details for FASTag through Fino BPay App or at Fino & BPCL Locations.
Fino Payments Bank will electronically deduct the applicable toll fee from the customer’s wallet account linked to his or her FASTag. This deduction will be done after the toll transaction has taken place. The customer needs to adequately recharge the wallet account linked to FASTag.
The customer will receive an SMS with the requisite details on his registered mobile number as soon as the toll transaction takes place. You may also download statements for any period from your BPay wallet account.
You may recharge your FASTag linked wallet account through your BPay App or by paying cash at identified Fino & BPCL Branches / Merchant Locations. Customers can recharge BPay wallet account using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ or Net Banking.
FASTag users will always get a separate lane at toll plazas which will be only used by FASTag affixed vehicles.
You will need to take two separate FASTags for two vehicles, However you can link multiple FASTags to a single wallet account. You need to ensure that your wallet account has adequate funds to use all FASTag’s linked with it.
No, FASTag is issued to each vehicle separately based on KYC documents submitted. If for instance a FASTag bought for a car is used for a truck then such FASTag shall get blacklisted resulting in a denial of passage from FASTag lanes on toll plazas. FASTag users are advised to desist from such practice.
You need to close FASTag through BPay App or contact our Branches / Merchant points for closing FASTag. Security Deposit shall be refunded back to your linked wallet account. You can then opt for a new FASTag to be issued for your vehicle.
You will receive an SMS alert in your registered Wallet phone number each time an amount is deducted from your FASTag account. The fee payable at each toll plaza may be seen at http://tis.nhai.gov.in/ in addition to being displayed at the concerned toll plaza.
You can report an incorrect deduction by calling our customer care number. We will review your request and take necessary action.
You may block FASTag through BPay App or contact Fino Payments Bank Branches / Merchants and close your FASTag.
You couldn’t pass through an ETC lane due to technical issues at the toll plaza. In such situations, please use another lane and pay by cash. In case of any money deduction, please contact our branches or Customer Care.
Yes. You can also avail cashback for every transaction.
FASTag is location agnostic and will work at all enabled toll plazas.
It is strictly prohibited to purchase two FASTag for the same vehicle. In case of multiple FASTag used on a single vehicle, the customer will be responsible for any operational issues faced.
In case of car being sold or transferred, you need to close your existing FASTag as FASTag is not transferable.
You can visit one of our Branches / Merchants and apply for new FASTag.
It is planned to extend FASTag usage to toll plazas on State highways, parking lots for payment of parking charges and various other payments at wayside amenities

Yes, a one-time replacement fee of INR 200 is applicable for every Tag replacement.
Currently, there are no fees for FASTag closing or deactivation.
The one-time security deposit taken at the time of FasTag issuance will be credited back to your linked wallet account subject to outstanding transaction clearance.
